Meet your stage manager

Megh is an experienced stage manager with an extensive background in opera, ballet, and theatrical productions. With over two decades of experience, she has worked with prestigious organizations such as the San Diego Opera, Cincinnati Opera, American Spiritual Ensemble, and National Chorale.

Throughout her career, Megh has worked on numerous high-profile productions, including Jake Hegge and Gene Sheer’s Moby Dick, the World Premiere of Paul Moravec and Mark Campbell’s A Nation of Others, and UK Opera Theatre’s Stars of Tomorrow Opera Gala which was filmed by Kentucky Educational Television and nominated for a Regional Emmy Award. Her expertise extends beyond the stage, serving as the stage manager for large-scale performances such as the  Annual Messiah Sing-In with the National Chorale at Lincoln Center in New York City, and Alltech Celebration of Song , a concert that is performed in December for a live audience and then broadcast locally on Christmas Day and streamed worldwide.

Megh is passionate about expanding opera and ballet audiences, and finding ways to bring these powerful art forms to the new generation. She is equally comfortable calling new operas and dance pieces as she is classic works out of the canon, always archiving a production so it can be remounted.

Megh is a committed arts educator and served as Adjunct Faculty for University of Kentucky Department of Theatre and Dance, redesigning the course curriculum to serve students in the BA program, teaching stage management through soft skills to ensure that the work done it the course is applicable across disciplines.

Megh holds a Master of Arts Administration from the University of Kentucky and a B.F.A. in Theater Design and Production from the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music, and she is a proud member of the American Guild of Musical Artists and Actors Equity Association.

Megh is an avid reader, an Irish dancer, and prioritizes finding good iced coffee upon arrival in a new city. She is based in Gainesville, Florida with her husband Graham, and their two senior dogs Pete and Petey. Their teenage son is following in the “family business” and is studying Theatre Design and Production at Interlochen Arts Academy.
